( WJET/WFXP ) – Have you ever been enjoying a nice s’more by the campfire and thought to yourself, “What if it came as a cup of ramen noodles?”

Probably not, but now you can experience that with a new release from Cup Noodles.

Nissin Foods USA, saying “s’mores and summertime go hand-in-hand,” announced Monday that it is releasing a new limited-edition Cup Noodles Campfire S’mores flavor of ramen noodles. And no campfire is necessary to eat them.

Sour Patch Kids Oreos? Peeps Pepsi? What’s with all the weird flavors popping up these days?

The long-time noodle maker said the new noodles are “a gooey, sweet noodle experience,” combining all the s’more flavor staples — chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker — with a note of smokiness. However, they still follow the standard cooking method of adding water, microwaving for three minutes and letting it stand for two minutes.

“Since its invention nearly 100 years ago, the beloved s’more has been adapted into a wide range of food flavors, recipes and now ramen,” said Priscila Stanton, senior vice president of marketing for Nissin Foods USA.

“As enthusiasts seek new ways to get their s’mores fix beyond the great outdoors,” Stanton said, “we couldn’t resist joining the campfire fun by transforming the classic flavor into a bold, unexpected experience that will capture the hearts and palates of consumers nationwide.”

For those looking to get their s’mores fix in a cup, Nissin Foods said the new flavor will only be available at Walmart online and in stores.
