Now that summer has officially arrived, it's common that you will have friends and family over for yard games and BBQs, or just be spending more solar time outside, reading, tanning , or gardening . It's all well and good until you have a neighbor that sees you outside and wants to come out to chat, or makes you feel watched when you’re just trying to plant some cucumber starts in the garden.

As the saying goes “fences make great neighbors”. Having a privacy fence is crucial to keep your sanity and comfort in your own space. We have seen lots of traditional ways to create privacy fences and some more creative ones. The only downfall is that fences are expensive and instead of replacing an old fence one woman came up with a brilliant idea to give her current one a simple facelift, check it out below!

It really is quite astonishing what a little black paint can do. It took this woman's old and dusty fence and made it look nearly brand new again and we are so ecstatic with its final look!

    Privacy for Chain Link Fence

There are many fencing options to choose from, wooden fences, PVC white picket fences, thick wrought iron fences, and the classic and most budget-friendly chain link fences.

Chain link fences are popular options among homeowners because they are pretty cheap, easy to install, and are sturdy enough to hold in animals and children. But they definitely don’t look the most eye-appealing. But we have one solution that will change that!

Faux greenery! Use pre-cut sections of faux ivy leaves and secures them to your chain link fence. This is a great solution for creating privacy, requiring no maintenance such as a privacy hedge would, takes up no space in your yard, and draws the eye away from the classic and not-so-cute chain link fence!
