    UPDATE: Power restored in Washington County after more than 4,000 were without power

    UPDATE: Power has been restored in Washington County, according to the outage map .


    WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Ozark Electric Cooperative is reporting nearly 4,000 customers without power in Washington County, according to the company’s power outage map.

    The outage was first reported around 10:35 a.m. Tuesday at the Harmon substation.

    “Our crews are aware of the issue and are working as quickly as they can to restore power,” Ozarks Electric said in a social media post .

    Power crews were near the Eco-Vista Landfill in Tontitown restoring power.
