When you bring home a new baby and you already have a kid (or two) at home, you can't help but look forward to the day when your children will start playing together. Of course, this isn't something that happens overnight — your little one has lots of growing and developing to do before they can actually participate in anything their older sister or brother likes. Sometimes, though, siblings connect sooner than you might expect!

In one recent video, a little girl who looks to be about 4 or 5 is dancing around her living room, having a blast, but she's not getting her groove on all by herself. Her baby sister is watching from a walker, and even though she can't stand on her own yet, she's totally dancing along! "She wanted a sister so bad and this is what I walk into," wrote the mom.

This has got to be one of the cutest sibling bonding moments ever. Commenters loved the baby sister's enthusiasm in this super cute clip from @de.neah .

"It's giving dance battle and lil sis wants all the smoke," wrote SignatureKayKay.

"Baby sis said I can do it too," wrote cateyedcutie.

"The beginning of a beautiful friendship," wrote EsMirElle.

It's so sweet that these sisters are finding a way to have fun together in spite of their age difference! Interestingly enough, it's actually pretty normal for babies to start dancing before they can get around on two feet.

When Do Babies Usually Learn How to Dance?

According to Psychology Today, one study analyzing babies’ first dance moves in 15 different countries found that "around 50 percent of parents reported that their child first danced by around six months of age, which is often before babies learn how to crawl. Around 75 percent of babies were dancing by around 9.5 months, and 90 percent of babies were dancing by almost 13 months, which is around the age when babies first walk."

Even though babies might start bopping early in life, that doesn't mean they'll be particularly skilled on the dance floor at first.

"Babies can detect whether movement is 'on beat' by eight months of age but often don’t have the coordination to be able to move on beat themselves until late preschool. However, babies can change the pace of their movement between fast and slow songs . There are a ton of changes in what dance looks like in the first two years of life."

By the time babies are around 18 months of age, they can start copying gestures picked up from other dancers.

So before too long, the girl in this video will be able to start teaching baby sister her signature moves!
