Ah yes, the sushi burrito. The early 2010s trend that we thought died is back—alive and well at Cobble Hill’s JuJu Cafe & Deli. Come to this Japanese market to delight in an overstuffed tuna poke burrito made to order. The burrito, by definition, has a lot going on. But it works for a quick, reliable meal if you’re down for a thick, layered beauty. We like ours stuffed with cucumber, avocado, and hunks of spicy-mayo-doused shrimp tempura or tuna poke. While you wait for your burrito, grab a salmon onigiri for later, browse the impressive selection of Japanese gummies, and try to win a stuffed animal from the claw machines in the back. Raw fish purists, keep it moving.
