Morgan Wallen To Officially Release “Lies Lies Lies” This Friday

Coming soon. Back in February, Morgan Wallen first previewed his new song "Lies Lies Lies" during a surprise acoustic pop-up show with ERNEST and HARDY. Fans were immediately begging him to release the song, and in March he posted a full version of "Lies Lies Lies" to his YouTube as part of his live Abbey Road Sessions, recorded in London in Studio Two of the iconic Abbey Road Studios. Since then the song's become a fan favorite, and has made occasional appearances on the setlist during his massive Quittin' Time tour. But now, he's ready to officially dropped the song. Morgan announced today that "Lies Lies Lies" would be hitting streaming platforms this Friday, July 5, as the country superstar heads back across the pond where the song was recorded for a headlining show at Hyde Park in London. Written by Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Miller, Daniel Ross and Chris Tompkins, the song finds Morgan trying to convince himself that he's moved on from a past love before admitting that it was all just the "90 proof telling me lies, lies lies." And the good news is that it sounds like the version recorded in Abbey Road is going to be the official version that's released to streaming, which I'm sure fans who have already been listening to that one will appreciate.
