    3 sustain injuries following crash Tuesday morning

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A crash sent three people to the hospital this morning.

    According to the Dayton Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area of West Third Street and Orchard Avenue on report of a single vehicle crash.

    The vehicle was traveling east on Third Street when it went left of center, drove over a curb, struck an RTA pole and then a utility pole.

    All three occupants in the vehicle were transported to a local hospital for injuries.

    The driver sustained life-threatening injuries, the front passenger sustained serious injuries and the back-seat passenger sustained minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital.

    The DPD’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating the case further for cause.
