Donald Trump’s campaign said he raised just shy of $112 million in June, a significant haul though not as much as President Joe Biden for the first time in several months.

That sum helped boost the former president’s cash total, although it was a slower fundraising month compared with May, when Trump’s New York trial and eventual conviction drove massive donations .

The total fundraising includes his campaign as well as the Republican National Committee and several joint fundraising committees, all of which have to report official numbers later this month. The breakdown of how much money is in each committee was not clear on Tuesday.

The haul will help Trump and the RNC continue to shore up their coffers and expand campaign operations as they head into the Republican convention later this month. But it still made June the first month since March when Trump was outraised by Biden, whose operation said it brought in $127 million last month . The former president’s campaign pointed out that he had still brought in more cash than Biden over the full quarter and had more in cash on hand as of Sunday night, as well.

“This fundraising momentum is likely to grow even more as we head into a world-class convention and see the Democrats continue their circular firing squad,” advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said in a joint statement.

Trump has largely accumulated cash over the past few months, while his campaign has spent significantly less than Biden. In May, the most recent data disclosed to the Federal Election Commission, his campaign spent less than $8 million compared with $30 million spent by Biden’s campaign.
