Poodle Dances Along to Mom Hyping Him up Like the Sweetest Boy

Dogs love to dance. They have different dances: their happy dance, their hungry dance, and that one wiggly thing they do with their butts when they get itchy. The real lucky ones even have songs that go along with all of their silly dances!

For one Poodle, his song is not only adorable, but hilarious. On Monday, July 1st, his "spare human" managed to capture the daily serenade on video, and it totally won the internet. Everyone is in agreement that he is the best boy:

I'm so glad @lolobethadventure caught this. Like the rest of the comments, I have no idea what a "pishy boy" is, but I totally agree that he is one. He looks like one. Whatever that is!

Unfortunately, other than the fact that this pup is indeed a pishy boy, we don't know very much about him. He's definitely the favorite child, that's for sure, and he has some epic dance moves. He also does not care at all that his human sibling appears to be suffering from a hangover - that's not his problem. He's busy dancing!

Hopefully we'll get to see more of him soon: at over 1.3million likes, he is not only a pishy boy, but a star. He deserves more spotlight, even if he has no idea he's somewhat of a celebrity! In his mind, he's just getting praise, and that is good enough for him!

Why Do Poodles Love to Dance?

Tons of comments have been talking about how their Poodles do this exact thing with their arms. While all dogs can do a little dance from time to time, Poodles in particular seem to make it a habit.

Poodles were originally bred to be waterfowl retrievers , just like Golden and Labrador Retrievers were. They're strong swimmers and generally enjoy "paddling" motions like this. However, since the breed's conception, they've gone through a bit of a transformation. Now, people think they're kind of "uppity" pups who don't do anything but hang out in tiny purses and enter dog shows, which is simply not true.

Poodles have a very square build that helps to make them incredibly steady on their feet. It's more comfortable for them to stand up on their hind legs than it is for some other breeds, and they do it often. Many Poodles, especially those bred for shows, are trained to "dance" at the same time they're trained to sit, stay, and roll over. It's easier for them to have more rhythm when they're seated like Mr. Pishy Boy over here, but it's not a requirement. Try asking your Poodle to dance - they'll love it!
