Bold and Beautiful fans rocked by Tom's confusing death as they struggle to piece who sabotaged him

Bold and the Beautiful fans were confused over Tom's death.

On the Tuesday, July 2 episode, Finn walks into Deacon's restaurant and the two are shocked over what happened to Tom. Tom collapsed after his performance at Deacon's restaurant after his blue energy drink was spiked. Sheila and others surrounding her attempted chest compressions and called 911.

Finn casually said: "I can't believe Tom died here last night," confirming to viewers at home that the chest compressions and the doctor's could not bring him back to life. Viewers at home thought that more was to come after the collapse but they were wrong.

The confirmation of Tom's death was so subtle that fans were confused. Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, wanted someone to clarify on what happened because some missed Finn saying it. One person wrote: "So this is how we find out he died? They just tell us? #BoldandBeautiful." Another person wrote: "Finn informs Deacon and Hollis that Tom died from a drug overdose. So who drugged Tom? #BoldandBeautiful" A third person wrote: "Wait he died #BoldandBeautiful."

Deacon kept questioning what could have happened to Tom to cause his death. He asked Finn if it could have been a stroke or an aneurysm. Finn told him that it was not either, stating it was a drug overdose.

Not only were fans surprised at the cause of death but so was Deacon. Tom was changing his life around and before his performance he gave a toast to a new beginning. It did not make any sense to Deacon since Tom was in recovery.

While a drug overdose is not making sense to Finn or Deacon, it does to viewers but they just want to know who was the person behind spiking Tom's drink.

Some believe it could have been Poppy since Tom was threatening her to let Luna know that he is her biological father. Later in the episode, Bill told Poppy about Tom's death after he got an alert on his phone of a news article about it. Poppy looked surprised, stunned and even had tears forming, but fans believe she's lying, once again.
