HCBS Waitlist Participants Wanted for South Carolina Study

New Disabled South is seeking individuals who are currently on the HCBS waitlist to participate in a survey to share their experiences. The interviews aim to gather insights into the experiences of individuals currently on the HCBS waitlist in South Carolina. Interviews will last appropriately one hour and will be held via Zoom. All interviews will be conducted in English, and ASL interpretation is available upon request. Participants will be compensated with a $100 gift card for their time.

Home and Community Based Waivers allows individuals to receive Medicaid benefits and services at home or in their community. Each of the eight waivers* in South Carolina have specific income and level of care criteria along with a variety of benefits aimed at meeting the needs of eligible individuals.
