Southern Tier STARQuest challenges you to visit libraries

SOUTHERN TIER, N.Y. ( WETM ) — The Southern Tier Library System is challenging you to visit as many libraries as you can this summer.

Southern Tier STARQuest is encouraging the community to visit all 48 of the Southern Tier Library System’s locations across Allegany, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Yates counties. Visiting 5, 10, 24, and all 48 of the libraries will earn challenge participants some prizes.

People can join this challenge by picking up a map at their local library. At each library, be sure to let library staff know that you’re participating in STARQuest so you can get official stickers and collect library swag after reaching milestones.

Southern Tier residents have until Sept. 30 to finish the challenge. You can find a map of all 48 libraries in the district on the Southern Tier Library System’s website . Make sure you check each library’s hours before going.
