General Hospital fans were "heartbroken" and "tearing up" as Blaze's homophobic mother Natalia "blew up her whole life" after her controversial recording was released.
During Tuesday afternoon's episode, General Hospital fans were feeling for Blaze as she went on an angry, tear-filled rant against her mother after a recording was published in which she openly slammed the LGBTQ+ community . And not only did Natalia bash the gay community, but she also took aim at her daughter's relationship with Kristina, leaving Blaze feeling hurt and betrayed.
After the fiery interaction, Blaze left the room in a fit of rage after Natalia gave a half-hearted apology for her words and refused to reveal who she was speaking to in the recording. And while the recording hurt, Blaze is going to be even more upset when she discovers that after she left the room, Lucy ripped up her contract with Deception.

Lucy decided to cancel her contract with Blaze, claiming that she didn't want her company to be associated with the scandal - a move that will majorly set back Blaze's music career. And while Natalia threatened legal action against the company, Lucy did not seem the least bit concerned with letting the pair go.
After the drama unfolded on-screen fans took to social media sharing their reactions to Blaze's downfall. On X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Catching most of #GeneralHospital live today while I work and this episode is both so deliciously soapy but also so heartbreaking. Seeing the heartbreak and anger in Blaze's eyes... Actually, everyone is doing some really great eye work today. Heartbreak, anger... Tearing up."
In a Reddit thread, another fan wrote: "I just realized, Blaze is not under contract to Deception. So, the company (not likely) could cut ties completely to save itself. I kind of feel for Blaze. Music career just took a hit, modeling could be over, and Kristina is getting backlash from the community she’s trying to help." To which someone replied in agreement: "Yeah, her mom blew her up whole life."
This comes as activists are also calling for Kristina to step down from her position at the LGBTQ+ outreach center after the recording revealed that she was dating someone in the closet. And after Sonny caught wind that his daughter's career was in jeopardy, he threw his phone across in the room in a fit of anger and swore to get to the bottom of who was responsible for the tape. Meanwhile, Ava, who is responsible for the recording being published is begging for the audio to be taken down from the website after realizing the serious mistake she had made.
