Woman's Unconventional Bathroom Cabinet Makeover Is Such a Vibe

When it comes to DIY home projects, sometimes you have to go against the grain. No matter what the viewers or the TikTok interior designers might say, you are allowed to customize your home as much or as little as you want! Want to paint your front door black ? Do it. Want to add outdoor curtains to your front porch ? Do it!

People will have their opinions, but you have this house. Make sure it's your favorite place to be.

This woman was tired of her basic plain bathroom and decided to do something about it, despite it being an "unconventional" interior design choice. Watch below to see how it turned out!

For some reason this tactic can be looked down upon by the general online design community but honestly we're not sure why. We think it looks incredible!

Painting an area of your home black, whether it's your ceiling, walls, or even your furniture, is such a stunning bold choice and it instantly creates a look of drama you can't replicate with any other color.

How Did She Transform Her Bathroom?

TikTok creator Dalisay from @dalisayceja08 had never completed a home project before on her own and her bathroom seemed like the perfect place to start. While her primary bathroom was already looking gorgeous, Dalisay wasn't a fan of the classic wood cabinets. Since she was already going for black accents in the room, like her sink faucet and her bathmats, she thought, why not do the same to my cabinets? And off to her local home improvement store she went!

To get rid of the wood grain, she filled in the holes and gaps of the doors with filler and then sanded them down for a smooth finish. Then it was time to tape everything off and start painting. Getting rid of that warm brown tone did wonders for the space and it looks so stunning. We're so glad she went with her gut!
