Washington County is embracing the program.

“The kids look forward to it, honestly,” says Krista with the county’s Sun Bucks mobile van on Lincoln Avenue. “They look forward to the whole idea. A lot of us are on a first-name basis with the kids. And we know the kids in the community. So it’s just a great program.”

The governor says SUN Bucks will help fight hunger and aid with food security.
