Cat's Annoyed Face Over New Puppy's Antics Is the Definition of a 'Mood'

Ask anyone who's had a rough time helping their adult cat adjust to a puppy in the house: it's not always love at first sight. When we adopted my dog, a very energetic Boxer mix, as an eight week old puppy, one of my cats (who famously loves dogs) was totally on board, but the other was not . He did a lot of hiding under the bed in those first few weeks as everyone got used to their new roommate and my pup settled into her new home... and while now they get along better, that particular cat still avoids our dog if he can!

We see a lot of videos of cats and dogs who are instantly BFFs, but that's not reality in many situations. This TikTok video, though? This is reality.

On Monday, July 1, @sooiedownsouth shared how her cat, Pepper, really feels about having a German Shepherd puppy, whose name is Winnie, in her space, and let's just say her true feelings are all over her face.

Winnie is crazy cute, but that doesn't seem to matter at all to Pepper, who's never been more over all the barking. It's too funny when she looks at the camera and glares — it's a moment that would have fit right in on The Office .

Pepper is more than ready to have her house back. And as for the other kitty in the video? No idea how they feel, but chances are it's not as strongly as Pepper.

Commenters were attempting to guess what was going on in Pepper's head at that moment. One person wrote, "Pepper is making plans for you while you sleep," while another commented, "Pepper looks like she’s about to teach new puppy a few things."

    More About Winnie

The bad news for Pepper: Winnie is most certainly not going anywhere!

In an earlier video from June 10, the OP explained that Winnie, her mom, and her six siblings had been abandoned, so they'd taken her in as a foster dog. But it quickly became evident that this was actually a foster fail — just four days later, they were back with another video revealing that they'd decided to keep her forever. And with a face like that, how could they not?

Winnie is now living on a farm, where she has plenty of animals to play with and space to run. She's already attempted to make friends with a pig named Biscuit , proving that this sweet baby has zero fear.

Hopefully, Pepper gets used to her new sister — she's here to stay!
