(WTVO) — The United States Postal Service is raising prices on Forever stamps this month.

First Class Forever stamps will go up from 68 cents to 73 cents on July 14th, a 7% increase. Just three years ago, Forever Stamps cost 55 cents.

The USPS says the price hike is part of its 10-year “Delivering for America” plan, which will raise the cost of all services by 7.5% and is expected to yield $44 billion in additional funding for the post office by 2031.
