    Spartanburg County shooting victim dies

    SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A shooting which sent one person to the hospital on Friday has turned into a homicide.

    According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, it has been requested to investigate a June 28 shooting on Ross Road in Spartanburg which sent Pamela Brockman, 60, of Chesnee, to the hospital.

    According to the coroner’s office, Brockman died from her injuries on Sunday.

    Investigators have arrested and charged Barbra Ann White in connection with the shooting.

    According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, White is currently being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center for possession of a weapon during a violent crime and attempted murder.

    The sheriff’s office said the charges will be upgraded to murder on Wednesday.
