    Prince George’s County police officer injured after getting into car crash

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A Prince George’s County police officer was taken to the hospital to be treated after a car crash Tuesday evening.

    The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said an officer was driving in the 2400 block of Chillum Rd. when he got into a car crash.

    That officer had hit his head during the crash. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

    The driver of the car was not hurt.

    PGPD said the officer was not chasing anyone and that there was not anything unusual going on.
