“Mesmerizing” Magician Performs “Calming” & Astonishing Routine In “AGT” Early Release Video

Young Min the Illusionist performed a “mesmerizing” magic act for the AGT judges, and it was as “calming” as it was captivating.
America’s Got Talent shared an early release video ahead of tonight’s new episode, and it shows a truly unique audition. The illusionist performs a magic routine using sand, and it defies all logic. It is also absolutely beautiful.
Set to a soothing cover of Wicked Games by Ursine Vulpine & Annaca, Young Min slowly weaves streams of sand into metal objects and then turns them into dust. All the while, he moves like a graceful dancer. By the end, the sand is blown away and the illusionist is glistening with glitter.
“AGT” Magician Has The Makings Of A Season Champion
AGT Judges Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel agreed that the act was enthralling and far more unique than most of the magician routines they’ve seen in the past. They also appreciated the tranquil feelings it gave them.
“It was so calming and beautiful to watch,” Heidi said.
Howie said he’d never seen anything that compared in all the years he’s been judging America’s Got Talent. He also shared that magicians often win the grand prize, and Young Min has the skill and creativity to become the Season 19 champion.
“This stage is a great home to magic,” he said. “We’ve had many winners, and I feel that you’re in that same echelon.”
Surprisingly, Simon Cowell was not as impressed by the act as his co-judges.
“From where I was sitting, I wasn’t mesmerized,” he said as the crowd booed.
Simon believed the audition lacked a grand finale. However, he agreed that Young Min deserved to move into the live episodes and have a second try. So, Simon joined the other three and voted “yes.”
You can watch Young Min’s entire audition and several more when AGT airs on NBC tonight at 8/7 C.
