    Salt Lake County crews respond to possible drowning in Little Dell Reservoir

    LITTLE DELL RESERVOIR, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Salt Lake County Sherriff’s Search and Rescue crews responded to a possible drowning in Little Dell Reservoir on Tuesday.

    According to a press release, search and rescue teams are investigating a possible drowning after bystanders contacted authorities on Tuesday, July 2.

    The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue and Utah State Park rangers are assisting the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) with the investigation. The Utah State Park rangers brought “specialized equipment” to the reservoir to assist in the investigation.

    The Little Dell Reservoir is approximately 18 miles from Salt Lake City and can be reached in about 20 minutes in a car.
