NWA Powerrr Results (7/2): Crockett Cup Continues

The National Wrestling Alliance delivered an action-packed show with the July 2 episode of NWA Powerrr .

Among other matches, Thom Latimer defended the NWA National Heavyweight Championship against Zyon. Plus, the Crockett Cup tournament continued.

The results are as follows:

• Grab the Jewels Ladder Match : Slade def. Eric Smalls
  • The broadcast team explained that the stipulation means that a sack of jewels is hanging from the ceiling, and the winner gets to “punch the other in the nether regions”.
  • Rolando Freeman was scheduled to face Smalls. Freeman came out with a sling, and the broadcast team said he dislocated his shoulder. Rolando revealed Slade as his replacement. During the match, Rolando interfered and attacked Smalls. Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch came out for the save, as they took the fight to Slade and Freeman. Murdoch tried to help Smalls score the win, but Slade stopped him. Slade then unhooked the jewels.
• NWA National Heavyweight Championship: Thom Latimer (c) def. Zyon (with Austin Idol)
• Crockett Cup Semifinals: The Southern Six (Kerry Morton & Alex Taylor) (with Ricky Morton) def. Trevor Murdoch & Mike Knox
  • Ricky Morton interfered and helped the Southern Six score the win. They will face Blunt Force Trauma or The Immortals in the finals.
