    Person rescued after almost drowning in Hensley Lake

    HENSLEY LAKE, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A person was rescued from Hensley Lake in Madera County after deputies responded to a drowning call, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office said.

    Deputies say they responded to the Bucke Ridge Day Use area at Hensley Lake for a possible drowning just before 7 p.m.

    Sheriff’s officials say the person was pulled from the water, and they were conscious and breathing.

    As of Tuesday night, there is no information regarding the status of the victim or if they were transported to a hospital for further treatment.
