Two starters for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game are locked in, and the rest will be revealed Wednesday.
Top overall vote-getter Aaron Judge of the Yankees has locked down his spot in the American League lineup, and Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper topped all National League players in Phase 1 of the fan voting. While Harper's status for the game is in question due to the hamstring injury he suffered hours after being named a starter last week, Judge should be in after missing last year's edition with an injury.
The rest of the winners from Phase 2 of the fan vote will be unveiled Wednesday. Several players have commanding leads entering the final day of voting, with Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman, Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm, Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani and Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson among those who are all but locks to make it to Arlington, Texas.
A few races will go down to the wire, however, including the 50-50 NL shortstop vote between Trea Turner of the Phillies and Mookie Betts of the Dodgers, along with the outfield slots in both leagues.
