WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis responded to The Bloodline’s assault on the Wise Man, Paul Heyman. Last week, WWE SmackDown returned to the iconic venue of Madison Square Garden, drawing nearly 18,000 fans. This attendance broke the previous record set in December 2023 for live events, which had 15,000 fans, according to Wrestleconomics.

The show included a significant Bloodline acknowledgment ceremony with new members Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Initially scheduled for the opening segment, The Bloodline, alongside Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman, was interrupted by Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton.

This resulted in a massive brawl involving all six superstars, during which Kevin Owens executed a Swanton Bomb on Tonga Loa through a table. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis intervened by bringing out security to halt the brawl, but Rhodes, Owens, and Orton turned their aggression toward the security guards. As a result, Aldis made a decisive move to ban all three stars from the remainder of the show due to their actions.

The main event featured The Bloodline’s acknowledgment ceremony, where Jacob Fatu made his appearance. Solo Sikoa requested acknowledgment from Fatu, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tonga, who recognized him as their Tribal Chief. However, Paul Heyman opted not to acknowledge Solo Sikoa, prompting The Bloodline to brutally attack him.

It appears that General Manager Nick Aldis feels responsible for the attack. Earlier, he banned Rhodes, Owens, and Orton from the show, a decision that contributed to Heyman’s brutal attack.

Nick Aldis says pressure-led decision resulted in Paul Heyman’s attack

WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis recently posted on Instagram, sharing photos of himself and Cody Rhodes from the brawl where Aldis called in the NYPD to remove Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton from the show. Aldis mentioned in his post that decisions made in the heat of the moment can lead to unintended consequences, hinting at The Bloodline’s attack on Paul Heyman.

The Bloodline, who are currently in a feud with Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton, were not present during their attack on Paul Heyman. If they hadn’t been banned from the show, perhaps the three stars could have come out to Heyman’s aid.
