    WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) – The Storm Prediction Center has outlined parts of the Ohio River Valley in a 1 out of 5 Marginal Risk for severe weather Wednesday night into Independence Day.

    Storms are likely to move into the region around sunset on Wednesday, wrapping up Thursday morning by 7 AM.

    Estimated Severe Weather Potential Time-Frame

    Storms will subside intermittently around 7 AM Thursday morning and resume Thursday afternoon between 2-7 PM, targeting those along I-70 and south.

    Tropical-like Weather

    Temperatures in the mid 80’s however, the dew point will be rather high making it hard to breathe and making the atmosphere feel tropical.
