Brothers and sisters don't always get along, as parents everywhere know all too well. But even siblings who bicker and squabble a good portion of the time can be huge sources of love and support for each other — and those are the moments parents cherish and remember forever.

In a video posted on July 1, a little boy named Marcus wakes up his sister on the day she's turning 3, and it's safe to say nobody's ever had a better birthday greeting! He climbs into her bed and gives her a hug, then tells her to close her eyes while he gets her a big surprise...and it's pretty much every 3-year-old's dream.

"Birthday morning with the best brother in the world," wrote @myla_sundaze_ . With a brother like that, the rest of Myla's birthday was no doubt just as joyful as those first few moments. Commenters were so impressed by how gentle and kind Marcus was with his sister.

"He is teaching her so much by showing her such love and kindness!" wrote Kimberly.

"Myla is the luckiest girl in the world to have a big brother like Marcus," wrote Ashley.del4.

Marcus is definitely setting an amazing example for his little sis (which might pay off when his birthday rolls around!). Of course, it's not uncommon for little kids to struggle with feelings of jealousy when it's their brother or sister's birthday.

How to Help a Kid Celebrate Their Sibling's Birthday

As frustrating as it might be when you're trying to make one child's day a happy occasion, it's completely normal for kids to have a hard time dealing with a sibling's birthday celebration , according to Scholastic — especially if they're on the younger side.

"A big struggle for threes and fours is fairness. Since they are still rather egocentric, they may struggle to accept that a sibling is getting all the attention. Fours, especially, closely watch how their parents treat their siblings and are often certain it is not fair. This is often heightened during a special event like a birthday celebration.

Children of this age also lack patience and have a limited concept of time. It’s tough for them to grasp why it’s not their own birthday yet. You may be tempted to say, 'In just another month, it’ll be your birthday.' But for preschoolers, especially 3-year-olds, waiting weeks or months seems like forever."

Giving your non-birthday kid a special job (like making decorations) or asking a relative or friend to be their "buddy" during the party so they get plenty of special attention can help. And remember, this is a phase that will likely pass soon.

"The good news is that as 4-year-olds begin to develop moral reasoning, they become excited for the birthdays of people they love."

And that's when you get a sweet scene like the one in this video!
