Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds Planning New Project

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are teaming up as the titular duo of the new Marvel flick Deadpool & Wolverine , where they unite to defeat a common enemy, but Jackman and Reynolds plan to take their partnership beyond the realms of the MCU.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly , Reynolds let slip that he and Jackman are looking to partner on a new project that doesn't involve superheroes.

Ryan Reynolds said, "We have [a project] we're looking to do soon", going on to articulate why he enjoys collaborating with Jackman, saying, "I would say that [ours] is like any relationship that is successful and works: It's that two parties are rooting for each other. I'm always rooting for Hugh to score and win. I also know the infinite nuance of his heart and his mind and who he is. I can say firsthand that he's a person who's not just worth rooting for, he's somebody who's impossible to not root for."

Deadpool & Wolverine is yet to hit theaters, but already the film is generating buzz, becoming the most watched trailer in 24 hours when the preview landed in February.

Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams and Matthew Macfadyen join Reynolds and Jackman in the cast for the film directed by Shawn Levy.
