Pregnant wife pulls off epic prank as husband napped as she gave birth

A mother-to-be pulled off a hilarious prank while she was in labor.

Brooke Chapman's husband napped while she was in labor so she tricked him into thinking he missed the birth of his child.

“My husband napped most of my labor and missed a lot of the progress we made,” reads the text on the TikTok video.

She and the nurses teamed up to pull a fast one on him. She held a fake baby, and the nurses all pretended it was real.

When the husband woke up, they said: “Doug, you just missed everything.”

Coming out of a sleep haze, his initial response was: “No, I didn’t.”

They tried to convince him further, telling him to look at the baby. He didn’t fall for it, however.

“Y’all are ------- stupid,” he said, still lying on the couch. Then the mom and all the nurses broke out into laughter. She eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy .

In the comments, some people slammed the dad for sleeping, saying he deserved the prank.

One said: “No but my husband would be going straight to jail.”

Another shared their experience: “My husband tried to sleep during my labor . I was like 'oh hell no'. His sister said 'poor guy is so tired. He needs some rest'. The rage I felt thru my body was indescribable.”

Others, however, explained they would rather their husband sleep than annoy them during labor.

“I’d rather my husband nap than stare at me and annoy me the whole time. I’m going to need him more after birth than during labor.”

A user said: “Am I the only one who asked their husband to please sleep? I knew I would be soo tired after delivery. I needed someone to be fully awake and rested to take care of me and baby .”
