Keke Palmer’s 1-Year-Old Son Was the ‘Best Coach’ at Her Dance Rehearsal & We Can’t Stop Smiling

Keke Palmer’s 1-year-old son is the most supportive little nugget, and we just can’t handle his ever-present cuteness. You see, baby Leodis (AKA “Leo”) has been helping his mom practice her dance moves for upcoming performances, and Palmer has blessed our feeds with the footage.

The video starts out with little Leo watching his mom in the studio, bouncing along as she dances. “Yeah!” he says proudly when her number ends. It then cuts to footage of him watching from the other side of the room, and this time we can see his happy face as he shakes his hips along to the beat. Finally, we see Palmer’s son — who she shares with ex Darius Jackson — join her on stage, toddling around the impressive space.

“From rehearsals to the stage I made sure my mommy was ready for her performance!” the post from Leo’s page said. (Because with a famous mama and killer dance moves, of course he has to have his own Instagram!)

“Thanks for listening to my critiques,” the caption continued. “You did almost as good as I would have 🫶🏾”

Palmer was quick to comment on the video which has garnered more than 72 thousand likes in less than 24 hours. “You are the best coach son!!” the singer wrote.

We’ve been watching the adorable video on repeat and we can’t stop smiling. Leo is just too stinkin’ cute. And we’re not the only ones who think so:

Last month, Leo was more focused on the vocals than the footwork. He was the most precious mama’s boy, wanting nothing more than to be held by his mom on stage while she sang.

“It’s really, really cool to just continue to see him grow and have us share experiences,” Palmer said of the experience. “He’s only 1, so I really also can’t wait ‘till he’s 5 where we could really start getting stuff. Because I know we’re going to be dancing — I just feel like we’re gonna be doing everything together.”
