Lisa Vanderpump is 'Broken-Hearted' as She Shares Major Personal Loss

Lisa Vanderpump is mourning the loss of a beloved family member.

The Vanderpump Rules star, 63, announced the death of her father John Vanderpump in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 3, sharing the news alongside a throwback photo with her dad.

In the post, which featured Lisa smiling ear-to-ear while posing with her dad, the reality TV personality wrote, "I will miss you daddy."

Adding that she is "Broken-hearted," over the news, Lisa wrote to her late dad, "Rest in peace.🙏💗."

Lisa didn't share any further details about her father's passing or his cause of death.

Her fans, friends and family were all quick to send their condolences to Lisa after hearing the news, including The Real Housewives of Dubai 's Nina Ali , who wrote in the comments, "So sorry for your loss. ♥️🙏🏼."

Lisa also received a simple message of support from her daughter Pandora , who left a pink heart emoji "🩷" under her mom's emotional post. Pandora, 38, is one of the two children Lisa shares with husband Ken Todd , along with their son, Max , 32.

The past several years have proven to be rather difficult for Lisa's family, after she already lost her mom, Jean Vanderpump , at the age of 84 in 2019.

Jean's death came just a year after the devastating loss of her son, Lisa's only sibling, Mark Vanderpump , who was only 59 when he died suddenly in May 2018.

Mark's death was determined to be a result of drug toxicity and was classified as suicide. Lisa, however, has since spoken out to deny that her brother took his own life, calling it "a cry for help that went horribly wrong," per PEOPLE .
