    H-E-B recalls Hill Country Fare mustard potato salad

    HARLINGEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — A recall was issued for an H-E-B food item ahead of Fourth of July celebrations and cookouts.

    The Hill Country Fare three-pound (48 oz.) mustard potato salad has been recalled due to possible pieces of hard plastic and foreign items that may be present in the packaging.

    Packages with a use by date of July 26, 2024 are at risk for possibly containing the hard plastic, according to H-E-B.

    H-E-B announced in a press release that all impacted product has been removed from shelves at all Texas locations, including Joe V’s Smart Shop.

    Consumers who purchased this product may return it to their local H-E-B for a full refund or discard the item.

    No injuries have been reported in relation to the recalled product.
