Victim dies after drive-by shooting that ended in 3 suspects jumping off bridge, K-9 injured: Officials

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A woman is dead after a drive-by shooting that led to three suspects jumping off a bridge and a K-9 injured, according to officials.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said the 70-year-old victim in a June 24 drive-by shooting on Erress Boulevard died from her injuries.

Following the death of the victim, officials say there will be changes to the two suspects’ charges.

• 19-year-old Jaquaris Trayquan Ethridge , who was arrested after officials pulled him out of the water when he jumped off the bridge in an escape attempt, according to deputies, has had his charge upgraded from attempted homicide to homicide.

• 19-year-old Terrance Gross, Jr. , the third suspect who was arrested in Texas, will have his charge upgraded once he is extradited to Escambia County, deputies said
