( WJET/WFXP ) – Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a woman awoke to a man in her bed and several items stolen from her and another at an Erie County motel on Monday.

One of the victims told police she was sleeping in her bed when she felt someone touching her. She got up and found an unknown male lying next to the bed.

The man related that he was friends with the victim’s roommate but reportedly fled the scene before the victim could ask her roommate if she knew him.
