Christian McCaffrey slammed a style influencer as “evil” for going on a social media rant about his wife Olivia Culpo’s “nothing” of a wedding dress .

“What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does,” he commented under the Instagram Reel , created by influencer Kennedy Bingham, on Tuesday.

Culpo agreed with her husband and further slammed Bingham as a “bizarre human” in the comment section under the same video she shared on TikTok .

“Wow what an absolutely evil person you are. I hope no one ever tears you apart in this way because it’s extremely hurtful. I love this dress and it was everything I wanted and more,” she wrote, per a screenshot shared by Bingham to her Instagram Stories.

In the viral video, Bingham shared her candid thoughts on Culpo’s “modest” Dolce & Gabbana long-sleeved ballgown with a button-lined back and 16-foot lace veil.

“I’ve been a bridal creator for four years now, and I have never said this before, but I do not like this wedding dress,” she began in the video.

Bingham explained that while the former Miss Universe made a “beautiful bride” in her “simple, elegant dress,” it’s all the “stuff surrounding the dress that leaves kind of a bitter aftertaste.”

The content creator then began to criticize several things that Culpo said about why she chose the dress –– including Culpo, 32, telling Vogue that she “didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form” and that she wanted a gown “that felt as serious as that commitment.”

“What you wear on your wedding day has almost nothing to do with whether or not you’re going to have a long and happy marriage,” she said, while adding that she was “pushing this idea of what all brides should look like.”

Bingham further slammed the model’s statements as “really odd” and claimed she was making it sound like “a very eloquent way of asking for whatever you are dressed as.”

She also had an issue with Culpo saying that McCaffrey, 28, found her the “most beautiful” when she is wearing something “timeless, covered, and elegant.”

“I also think it’s weird how much she’s talking about coverage, especially as someone who in her day-to-day life is not a modest dresser … I just think the usage of the word ‘covered’ is so icky, because you are not covered in day-to-day life. And, also, why is he thinking you’re the most beautiful when you’re covered? That’s such an odd thing,” she continued.

“You took this disingenuous pick me route that honestly felt more like you were thinking about your narrative than your actual marriage,” Bingham alleged. Jose Villa

Bingham went on to criticize the gown for being “nothing” and having an “absence of personality.”

“It’s very clear that this was not a wedding. This was a conservative campaign, and it wasn’t even well done … You took this disingenuous pick me route that honestly felt more like you were thinking about your narrative than your actual marriage,” she critiqued.

Several users joined McCaffrey in coming to Culpo’s defense, gushed over the “gorgeous” gown and applauded him for defending his wife.

“Let women be,” one person commented. Instagram

“Why is it okay to pick apart her words, take them personally and call her a pick me? If she’s a model, and miss universe maybe she wants to feel serious about herself, didn’t sound like she was judging other women at all. Reading into that seems like projecting your internal feelings onto her. Let women be,” one person commented.

“I just feel that whatever you wear can translate how you feel at the time. If she felt her dress made her feel that way then it’s her right to do so. I think the gown is beautiful, but that’s just my opinion. Even if I don’t agree. She doesn’t speak for all brides anyway,” another user wrote.

“I think it’s gorgeous 😭 I wouldn’t choose it, but I don’t think anyone else should care what someone wears for their wedding,” someone else shared.

“she absolutely wasn’t saying everyone should wear something like she did. your wedding dress is personal. she looks beautiful,” another person chimed in.

Culpo and McCaffrey said “I do” at a chapel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island , before heading over to the reception with family and friends at Ocean House on Saturday.

The “Culpo Sisters” star switched up her wedding dress vibe and wore an “ethereal” sweetheart-cut gown for the reception before changing into a bodysuit with a sheer mini cage skirt.
