Unhinged Woman Threatens To Call Police Over A Man Releasing A Fish

Okay, Karen... calm down. There’s just some people who can’t help themselves but ruin another’s day. Killing a fish accidentally is not something any fisherman wants to do, but it is unfortunately, a part of the deal. Stuff happens. Lots can go wrong when you are fishing, from the hook getting caught up in the gills to the fish, not detecting the bite soon enough and gut-hooking it, sometimes the fish overworks itself fighting back, or maybe it was wounded and already having issues... there's a whole mess of reasons. Most responsible fisherman love fish, do their best to take of aquatic environments, and try to get the fish back int he water as quickly as possible. Nobody likes to see their freshly released fish go belly up. Sure, to a half-in-the-bag Karen on shore it may look like you intentionally killed the fish, but those fish got it pretty rough under the surface to begin with and will likely wind up being food for the next biggest fish. And if the fish does end up dead, something or many things will make good use of it for a meal. This lady couldn’t help herself, but she certainly had no clue what she was talking about, and the fisherman did. “Why did you just kill that fish and throw it back in and kill it?” The man kindly explains that he didn’t mean to and that is completely within in his rights and following the rules. He even tells her who to call for more information on the situation before she threatens to call the police. She just won't let up and even demands to see his fishing license, as if she has any authority whatsoever to punish him.
