SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYYR-TV) — On Tuesday, July 2, New York State Police arrested 36-year-old Paul Palucci after an investigation into missing funds from the CNY Premier Soccer Club Inc. after paying members were told the club went bankrupt.

Palucci, the president of the club, is accused of stealing over $50,000 from the club by making fraudulent charges from the club’s accounts.

He is also accused of changing the club’s bylaws for his own benefit, resulting in false entries becoming business records, said NYSP.

Palucci is charged with falsifying business records in the first degree, a Class E felony, and grand larceny in the second-degree, a Class C felony.

He was arraigned at Onondaga County CAP Court and released on his own recognizance, NYSP said.
