Chick-fil-A Bringing Back 2 Items Fans Want on the Menu 'Forever'

Chick-fil-A is said to be adding two fan-favorite seasonal items back to menus later this summer.

Parade previously got wind that the fast food chain had been testing out a new banana pudding-inspired frozen treat as well as a similar flavor to add to its lineup of Frosted Coffee beverages .

At the time, loyal consumers hoped the brand would bring back the related milkshake. Now, we have it on good word that not only is Chick-fil-A's Banana Pudding Milkshake making a comeback, but so is one of its sweet and spicy sandwiches.

Food blogger Markie_Devo revealed in a Tuesday, July 2, Instagram post that the beloved Banana Pudding Milkshake and the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich would be making a comeback at the end of next month.

Fans apparently found it hard to keep their cool, taking to the comments with overwhelmingly positive responses.

"They better leave that sandwich on the menu forever," one top-liked reply read.

"Banana pudding milkshake yessir 😩," another rejoiced.

"I’m loving that banana is finally getting the recognition it deserves!" a third exclaimed.

Someone else was a little more hesitant to believe the good fortune, asking, "Are you sure the shake is coming back?" to which the influencer–who has gained a following of over 100,000 people simply by testing out new fast food and snack products–joked back, "are you new here?😆👍🏻."

The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich was initially released last year at the tail end of summer, and it soon became a favorite amongst the crowd. A twist on the classic CFA Chicken Sandwich, it features a chicken filet that's drizzled with honey, topped with Southern-style pimento cheese and served on a toasted bun with pickled jalapeños.

The creamy and fruity shake, on the other hand, debuted about a decade ago before disappearing from menus, and it features "hand-spun the old-fashioned way, refreshing Chick-fil-A® Icedream® dessert mixed with banana and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry," per its official description.

According to an insider tip shared with Markie_Devo, the set of returning menu items will "hit participating Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide on August 26th."

When asked about the Banana Pudding and other related desserts about five weeks ago, a rep for Chick-fil-A told Parade that they couldn't confirm any late summer-early fall seasonal offerings at the time, but that super sweet news would be coming soon.
