No Disney World resort is truly "low-budget" by typical hotel standards, but their select "value' resorts do offer guests a comfortable stay on-property at prices that are... well, less shocking than those at Disney World's most famous resorts. There are some guests who get snobby about these resorts, but a lot of Disneygoers think that these hotels provide a unique, fun, and exciting experience despite their "value" designation.

In fact, one of Disney World's cheapest resorts might arguably be one of its most beloved, too, and it''s at that resort that theme park vlogger Juliet Nuzzo just completed a three-day stay. She wanted to see if the value resort truly lived up to the hype, and her subsequent review got guests gabbing!

My hotel review for Pop Century Resort at Disney World...this is definitely my favorite value hotel I gotta say. For a cheap Disney World hotel this one has a lot of personality! #disneyworld #disneyhotel #waltdisneyworld #popcentury #popcenturyresort

As a popular Disney World vlogger, Juliet (aka @perfectingthemagic ) has stayed at every Disney World hotel, so she had quite a lot to weigh the modest Pop Century resort against. And... she liked it! Sure, the Pop Century's no Grand Floridian or Polynesian Resort, but taken for what it is, Juliet rather liked it- in fact, she went so far as to call it her favorite Disney value hotel ! Yes, even at $200 a night, it's a 'value" hotel...

    Pop Century Pros and Cons

Juliet's review wasn't without its critiques, but she really didn't call out that many "cons." The biggest negative point in her review was that her hotel room was a little "compact" for a three-day stay, though she still praised the room overall for its modern, clean interior. The hotel's buffet also got kind of a "meh" reaction from Juliet. Though she found some items she liked there, she found herself eating a lot more in the park than at the hotel.

Otherwise, the Pop Century got plenty of props! The hotel's three swimming pools charmed Juliet, even if they weren't quite on the level of some of the higher-end offerings, like the Beach and Yacht Club pools. The stylish and efficient Skyliner cable car system also really impressed Juliet, who was used to subpar transportation options at other Disney value resorts.

    It's All in the Name

Ironically, her most controversial comment was also couched in praise of the resort. At the beginning, Juliet effusively praised the resort's colorful style and fun personality, but she admitted that she didn't get what the hotel's theme was, whittling her best guess down to "stuff that's happened." That- amusingly - set Disneygoers off!

"How in the world is the theming confusing?" @addhdjrjrn exclaimed.

They've got a point: it's all in the name. No, seriously... it's all in the name.

"Pop culture through the 20th century is the theme," @positivelytracey spelled it out.

"It's pop culture through the decades?" echoed @girlrunfaster. "Not too confusing. I LOVE Pop. The price point and transportation are perfect for me. The rooms are small though, so hyper kids might make it feel TINY as you said."

Man... if you're gonna talk about Disney hotel themes, you better not miss. Still, the slight point of confusion didn't slow fans down too long before they went back to praising the "budget" resort.

"Pop Century and Art of Animation do not get the love [they] deserve. We got a 2-bedroom suite for $200 a night," said @pfieferpfour.

"We stay at POP every time we go! I don't even care to try another resort because we love it so much," agreed @thecalebogle.

"We've stayed at value, moderate, and deluxe, and POP was one of our family's faves," @kristymetcalfe78 praised.

It just goes to show, you don't need to book a $600+ a night suite to enjoy your Disney stay when even their cheaper resorts have style, fun, and convenience in spades. Whether or not you're well-versed in pop culture, there's a whole lot to love about the Pop Century Resort!
