Popular rock band to headline Camden Freedom Festival

Camden’s annual Freedom Festival and Fourth of July Festival Fireworks Spectacular is tonight, and if you need more reason to attend the event, a popular rock band from the 80s and 90s will be headlining the concert.

Gin Blossoms which rose to fame in 1992 with their album, New Miserable Experience, will be performing during Camden’s Freedom Festival at 8 p.m.

“Every year, thousands of people look forward to this celebration of Independence Day on the beautiful Camden Waterfront,” said Commissioner Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Events and Community Outreach.

“This event is always a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, have some fun, and enjoy a spectacular fireworks show against the skyline of this nation’s first capital.”

The Freedom Festival will be located at Wiggins Waterfront Park on 2 Riverside Drive.
