Hope believes there could still be a chance between her and Thomas.
On the Wednesday, July 3 episode of Bold and the Beautiful , Hope had a moment with Thomas where she tried to remind him of what they once had. This comes after he announced that he and Paris were engaged after he left with his and Hope's son Douglas to Paris, France. The reason he originally left was because Hope rejected his marriage proposal for the second time. The two have not had a perfect relationship especially when he confessed to being there the day of Emma's death.
Hope feels like Thomas rushed into this engagement and poured her heart to him about how much she missed him.

Hope laid her hands on his chest and looked into Thomas' eyes, telling him that she never stopped thinking about them together. She wanted him to reminisce on their love and connection. Thomas heard her out but he had to remind her that it was really over. He put his hand on her face, stared into her eyes and lips, and asked for her to stop.
He said: "You made it clear we aren't going anywhere. It's over," and ran off.
They both did not know that Paris was behind the door listening. Hope was left in tears in her office when Paris came in to tell Hope to back away. Paris told Hope that she and Thomas are engaged and Hope had so many chances but she fumbled. Paris let her know that she loves Thomas and to never "make a play on Thomas again."
One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: "Paris had the right words and attitude for Hope. Fake engagement or not, Thomas is her man and Hope needs to back off. #boldandbeautiful." Another person wrote: "Girlie barely waited for the taste of Hope to leave that dudes mouth and talking about back stabbing behavior/breaking the gf code?" Paris is standing up for her relationship with her fiance. Yes, it's about time, someone put Hope in her place!!"
Some viewers at home feel like Thomas and Hope still have a chance. A person wrote: "Part of me feels bad for Paris because this will all end with Thomas leaving her at the altar and running back to Hope."
