    What's going on this 4th of July in SoCal?

    Trying to figure out what to do on Independence Day? Well, here’s some events happening across Southern California.

    Warner Ranch Park: Councilmember Bob Blumenfield’s July 4th Extravaganza event includes a performance, over a dozen food trucks and a fireworks display after sundown. Expect up to 40,000 attendees. The event takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and general admission is free. Go Metro : Take Line 150/169 to Topanga Canyon.

    Marina Del Rey Fireworks Show: Marina del Rey will offer a fireworks show along the coast with viewing spots at Burton Chace Park or Fisherman’s Village. The show starts at 9 p.m. and will last about 20 minutes. Go Metro : Take Line 108 to Mindanao / Lincoln.

    Downtown L.A.: Grand Park’s 4th of July Block Party between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission is free Go Metro : Take the B or D Lines to Grand Park / Civic Center station.

    Hollywood Bowl: July 4th Fireworks Spectacular - Harry Connick Jr. headlines this year’s Hollywood Bowl celebration starting at 7:30 p.m., followed by a fireworks display. Tickets cost between $59 to $324 before fees. Go Metro : Take the B Line to Hollywood / Highland station then catch the Bowl Shuttle at Ovation Hollywood, which is free if you show your valid tap card from the ride.

    Hollywood Forever Cemetery: An outdoor movie screening of “Rocky” at 9 p.m. followed by the fireworks. Admission is $32. Go Metro : Take Line 4 along Santa Monica Blvd.

    Dodgers Stadium : The Dodgers will have post-game fireworks after they take on the Diamondbacks. The game starts at 6:10 p.m. Tickets range between $58.60 and $282.10 after fees. Go Metro : Ride the Dodger Stadium Express from Union Station, or from multiple South Bay locations.

    Long Beach Waterfront: Long Beach’s annual Fourth of July fireworks display goes off around 9 p.m. over Queensway Bay. There are viewing spots at Rainbow Harbor, Shoreline Village, and Lions Lighthouse. Go Metro : Take the A Line to Downtown Long Beach station.

    Rose Bowl: There will be a fireworks show after the LAFC and the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer game. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $40 before fees. Go Metro: Take the A Line to Memorial Park Station in Pasadena; then walk to Parsons Parking Lot B for a bus shuttle that drops you off next to the stadium.

    Pomona Fairplex: KABOOM! is a monster truck event beginning at 4 p.m. with a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. Tickets start at $22 before fees. Go Metro : Take Metrolink San Bernardino line to the Pomona - North station. Walk to the Foothill Transit 197 stop on Arrow Hwy and Mariposa St. W.

    Universal Studios: This Fourth of July Celebration has special live performances, decor, and a firework show that starts around 9 p.m. All festivities are included with theme park admission. Go Metro : Take the B Line to Universal / Studio City station.

    City of Gardena: A free Fourth of July bash will be held at Rowley Memorial Park from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with food trucks, games, and live music. The fireworks show begins at 9 p.m.

    Santa Monica: A Fourth of July Parade on Main Street in Santa Monica, which kicks off at 9:30 a.m. The route begins at Pico and Main Street, then heads south on Main before turning right onto Marine, ending at Barnard Way. It’s free to attend.

    City of Torrance: There will be a fireworks show at the Torrance Civic Center with viewing locations at the West parking lot of the L.A. County Courthouse and the L.A. Galaxy Sports Complex. Admission is free, but attendance is limited and based on first-come, first-served. The fireworks show starts at 9 p.m.

    Starlight Bowl amphitheater: The Burbank venue will host a live performance by cover band Billy Nation (a tribute to Billy Joel), with a fireworks show afterward. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors.

    Whittier: The Fourth of July Spectacular will be at York Field featuring live bands, food trucks, inflatables, and a fireworks show at 9 p.m., but the gates open at 5 p.m. Admission is $5, but veterans and children under 17 are free.
