Funyuns is spicing up its flavor lineup–literally.

The Frito-Lay brand of onion-flavored rings teamed up with the popular instant ramen noodle maker Maruchan for a "hot & spicy" new variety of its ring-shaped snack.

Several in-the-know foodies were lucky enough to be sent a bag of the limited-edition flavor of Funyuns x Maruchan's Hot & Spicy Chicken Ramen chips ahead of the official release, with one TikToker calling them "flavorful" and "absolutely delicious."

Another insisted the collaboration scored a "10/10," describing the snack as "basically a walking cup of noodle !"

Meanwhile, food blogger Snackolator dubbed it "the snack release we never knew we needed!" to which one fan joked, "Bro this truly is an understatement of 'the snack we never knew we needed' because that flavor for an already good flavored snack is gonna be bomb."

The Instagram influencer also revealed that the highly-anticipated item will soon be available at participating retailers nationwide, as it "looks to be hitting shelves in late July into early August."

Currently, the standard six-ounce size bags of Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Ramen-flavored Funyuns are listed on DoorDash , but according to Snackolator's sources, the limited-edition variety will also be made available in snack-sized bags.

This is the latest innovation for Funyuns, joining the original onion-flavored ring alongside two other fan-favorite flavors: Funyuns Spicy Queso and Funyuns Flamin' Hot .
