Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck might be headed for a divorce. Insiders allege that the couple continues to have issues in their marriage as 2024 continues. The issues stem from Lopez wanting to remain in the spotlight while Affleck strives for a quiet life at home. Affleck currently lives in a $100,000 monthly rental home near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while Lopez remains in their $60 million mansion.
With Lopez and Affleck possibly headed for a split, a source claims that Lopez “doesn’t intend to stay single” after her next possible divorce. And she might have her sights set on her ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.
“He’s got a girlfriend now, but J. Lo doesn’t intend to stay single long, and she and A-Rod do have unfinished business,” a source told In Touch Weekly .
Lopez and Rodriguez met in 1999 and started dating in 2017. They announced their engagement in 2019 but broke it off in 2021. “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they stated after the breakup.
“For all his faults, they did have an intense connection; he was devastated when they split up,” the source continued. “He insists he’s happier now without her, but they have a lot of mutual friends that aren’t so convinced, and he’s not married or engaged, so at this point, it’s not beyond the realm that they could reconnect.”
