Fans are praising Mark Wahlberg’s “dedication” to his work after seeing the lengths he went to for a new movie role.

Wahlberg, 53, will be starring in a new thriller called Flight Risk . The film, which will also feature performances by Michelle Dockery and Topher Grace , will celebrate its theatrical release on October 18, according to a trailer that the team behind the film released last week.

That first trailer revealed Wahlberg playing a pilot who is mostly bald. As the Ted actor revealed in a Wednesday, July 3, Instagram post , he decided to fully commit to the look for the role.

“No bald cap for me😎😂,” the father of four wrote in his Instagram caption, adding, “we go all in @flightriskmovie October 18th 🤬😳🤣.”

In the photo, Wahlberg revealed that he had gotten the top of his head shaved, though he still kept his natural hair in place along the sides of his head. He opened his eyes wide for the photo, furrowing his brow as he posed shirtless.

Wahlberg’s wife, Rhea , posted a humorous emoji-filled reaction to the photo, writing, “🙈🙈🙈🙈.”

Actor and TV personality Mario Lopez also commented, writing, “All in foo!”

Several fans appeared tickled by the image, with many posting laughing emojis in the comment section. Others praised Wahlberg for going the extra mile for the upcoming movie.
