It's almost that special time of year for Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley -- their birthday! On Tuesday, Tia took to Instagram to pay tribute to Cancer season and wish her twin sister a happy early birthday.
"I want to take this moment to cherish my sister and wish an early happy birthday to Tamera," the 45-year-old actress began the caption of her gallery post. The post features several selfies of the twin sisters, as well as a few red carpet photos of Tia and Tamera when they were younger. The final slide of the post is a video of Tia and Tamera as they chat with one another while walking down a busy street and holding hands. "Having you by my side as we've grown and evolved has been an incredible blessing," she wrote.
She continued, "Not everyone can say they've had someone with them through every major milestone in life. From growing up together and getting our big break to navigating the teenage years, and motherhood, I'm immensely grateful to have shared this journey with you."
"Here's to celebrating all the beautiful memories and milestones we've experienced and built together. We're turning 46! How did we get here??" she concluded.
"I told her, I said, 'Tia, I'm looking on your Instagram, this is the happiest you've been in a long time. You are glowing!'" Tamera recalled."'You look different, but in a very positive way!'"
"I think it's because -- no, I know it's because she is living her authentic, true self," she added. "And I think that is what everyone should do.And it's not easy! That's the thing, it's scary."
Tia and Cory share two children together, 13-year-old son Cree and 6-year-old daughter Cairo.
"I told her, 'I'm so proud of you, because you are showing other women -- and hell, even men -- that you walk in your truth, and look what happens. No matter what,'" Tamera said, adding that her sister is "very, very strong and inspiring."

Almost two years later, Tamera told ET atthe 49th annual Gracie Awards that she is now fighting the sisterly instinct to set Tia up."See this is the thing, Tia is living her life right now and Tia is doing Tia," the Sister, Sister star joked. "I feel like she doesn't want any of our input right now and I can only respect that."
Tamera added, "I think she is doing her."
Tia ecohed her sister's sentiments while talking toET at Sunday's 2024 BET Awards , during which she spoke about being focused on making herself happy as she's officially in her single era.
"I am really, really enjoying this journey of solitude... I took a little break with dating.I'm dating me right now. Right now, I am becoming the partner that I want, so that takes time,"the actress told ET. "I have been in solitude learning a lot about myself. I'm reading this new book called Brave New You by Corey Allen, and it has been so fantastic."
The Sister Sister star continued, "I just want to encourage women out there that you don't have to jump into a relationship and have this sort of rebound. Work on you, work on yourself and [the timing will align].I'm enjoying myself, you know what I mean?"
According to a press release, the show -- which was announced in April -- will follow Tia "as she navigates her newly single status, motherhood, building businesses, and juggling her super busy and ever-evolving career."
"It's all about me just attacking this journey alone, to be honest with you, and I feel like it'll be really relatable," Tia told ET about her reality series. "I'm all about inspiring and encouraging women, women empowerment, and I'm encouraging people to be courageous as they go through transitions in life, whether it's a divorce, a change in a job, a loss, whatever.
"If I can be that source of inspiration then I feel like I am doing what I'm supposed to be doing," she added.
