Summery weather is resurging, just in time for the holiday weekend. Temperatures are warming back into the upper-80s and low-90s. Humidity will smother the state making it feel like the mid- to upper-90s. It’s nothing too out of the ordinary for New Jersey in the summer. Yes, it will be hot. Yes, it will be humid and yes, unfortunately, there will be a few widely scattered thunderstorms lurking around in the late afternoon/ early evening time frame for the Fourth of July holiday. However, any storm that has lightning is very dangerous and would be a reason to either delay or postpone fireworks at night. More often than not, most fireworks shows should be OK.
