Ring Of Honor Talent Undergoes Surgery

In unfortunate news, Cole Karter, who hasn’t wrestled since the June 8 ROH HonorClub tapings, has disclosed via X that he’s undergone surgery on a broken arm. How long the 24-year-old will now be sidelined remains unknown, although he’ll likely be aiming to return to the ring in time for Final Battle, which typically takes place in December. Additionally, this leaves a question over the immediate future of Karter’s tag partner, Griff Garrison, who himself hasn’t wrestled in several weeks.

24-year-old Karter was previously signed with WWE as part of their NXT brand under the ring name Troy Donovan but was soon let go due to an unspecified policy issue. However, it’s understood he was told that he might be brought back in a year. Still, having previously worked for AEW as an enhancement talent, he would instead return to Tony Khan’s company, and since April 2023, he has been wrestling for ROH as both a singles competitor and as part of a tag team with Garrison.
