General Hospital fans praise Maxie Jones' "new spark" that's been "missing for years" as she "takes charge of everything" and resolves the Natalia homophobic recording crisis .

During the latest episode of General Hospital, fans showered Maxie in praise as she came up with the best solution to handling the crisis that is Natalia's controversial recording . Last episode, Blaze's music career was in jeopardy as an audio recording of her mother Natalia was published in The Invader where she is heard making outrageous homophobic remarks and ripping apart her daughter Blaze's lesbian relationship with Kristina.

And while Lucy's first instinct was to tear Blaze's contract to sheds and move on, Maxie stepped up and proposed a different idea in support of her friend Blaze. During a PR crisis meeting, Maxie suggested that their company release a powerful and positive statement in response to the controversy.

During the discussion, Maxie noted: "We do not want to make it look like Deception is dropping Blaze." To which Lucy, who recently had a change of heart about the situation, agreed and responded: "No we can't because the Internet would have an absolute field day."

Maxie then went on to propose: "Okay how about this - across both pages a simple message in bold type 'No one cancels love' underneath that our company name Deception. Black pages, white letters - that's it. Nothing else." To which Nina agreed: "That's perfect Maxie." And Lucy echoed: "It is. It's genius if I do say so myself."

After the suggestion, dozens of General Hospital fans took to X, formerly Twitter, sharing their love for Maxie's character and the newfound role she's been taking on in the soap. One fan wrote: "There is a spark in Maxie Jones that has been missing for years and I’m so thankful it’s back!" And another added: "Glad to see Maxie taking charge with everything at Deception. And so glad Lucy ripped up that contract in Natalia’s face."

And a third viewer agreed: "Yes! Maxie has matured into a dynamic, smart, take-charge woman." And someone else sweetly chimed in: "She looks amazing!
