In 2021, Affleck famously rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez, and they tied the knot in 2022. Now, Affleck is reportedly confiding in Garner over his issues with Lopez. And Garner is allegedly done helping her ex.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck sustained a friendship after their split, as they have three children together. In 2024, Affleck doesn’t live far from his ex-wife, as he reportedly moved out of the mansion he shares with Jennifer Lopez into a nearby rental property. Affleck is also leaning on Garner for support through his marital issues with Lopez. However, Garner might be at her limit.

“Jen eventually got to a place where she was like, ‘Sorry, figure this out yourself,'” a source told DailyMail.com. “It was beginning to become too painful for her because it was bringing back so many memories of their divorce.”

The source added that Garner “felt like she was second” to Lopez during her marriage to Affleck, as they married soon after Affleck and Lopez broke off their engagement in 2004. “She was surprised at how public he became when they reunited because he was always a man who wanted to be out of the spotlight when they were married,” they added.

Despite the past, Garner “opened up her home and her life” to Lopez and cares about what happens to Affleck and Lopez, especially because of her children. “But in the end, it is not Jen’s circus, not Jen’s monkeys, and she is done playing marriage counselor to her ex-husband and his wife,” the insider added.

It’s not just Ben Affleck who confides in Jennifer Garner. Jennifer Lopez also allegedly trusted Affleck’s ex and talked to her about her marital issues.

“J.Lo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only people in the world who would understand what she is going through,” a source told DailyMail.com in May 2024. “She has been through it with the same man herself, and although the circumstances were quite different, it is still the same man, and they both dealt with some of the same issues.”

The insider added that Garner wants to see Affleck continue to try and save his marriage to Lopez. “J.Lo was told several times by Jen how valued she is in all their lives,” the insider continued. “She is one of the only women who can get through to Ben and keep him from jumping off the deep end with his addiction.”

Jennifer Garner can’t worry too much about Ben Affleck, as she has her own relationship with John Miller. Garner and Miller started dating shortly after Garner finalized her divorce from Affleck. She allegedly sees a future with Miller and might be ready to take their romance up a notch.

“Jennifer is in a very happy place and gets along with Ben and Jen[nifer Lopez],” a source told Entertainment Tonight in May 2024. “… Jennifer Garner and John Miller are doing well, and they have talked about escalating their relationship to the next level.”

This might mean that fans should anticipate a possible engagement between Garner and Miller in the near future.
